Below are links to download data from 590 gene-associated loci from Balsam poplar. For detailed information on the data set see Olson et al., 2010 New Phytologist 186:526-536. These have been direct sequenced from one individual from each of 15 populations. For a very few loci, one additional individual was sequenced from the Grande Prairie (GPR) population PR, for a total of 16 diploid sequences. Below you are able to download either the curated diploid (genotype) sequences with ambiguity codes or the haplotypes predicted using PHASE (see Stevens, Smith and Donnelly, 2001, Am. J. Human Genetics 76:449-462, or http://stephenslab.uchicago.edu/software.html). Transcript IDs refer to numbers assigned for the Populus trichocarpa genome annotation at http://genome.jgi-psf.org/Poptr1_1/Poptr1_1.home.html.

Fasta headers will have the format ">123456 PPPGG" where 123456 is the transcript ID, PPP is the population, and GG is the genotype ID.
