Live tissue collections have been made for Balsma Poplar (Populus balsamifera) from each of the sites on the map below. We have collected up to 15 genotypes from each of these sites. All genotypes are replicated (by vegetative cuttings) and are growing in common gardens located at the Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Administration Shelterbelt Centre Indian Head, Saskatchwan, Canada http://www4.agr.gc.ca/AAFC-AAC/display-afficher.do?id=1186517615847&lang=eng and in Fairbanks Alaska. Sequence and SNP data from these individuals can be downloaded from accompanying pages.
